Saturday busys
Yesterday, I buckled down and got a few things done. First, I attempted to put up wire mesh around the eaves of the shed, the ladders were either too tall or too short. The too tall ones rested against the tin roofing and I couldn't reach the area I needed to staple very well. I got the snowblower running, still need to pump a tire up but it started right up. The generator...did not. It was running when I put it away so I need to fiddle with it and see if I can get it working.
F came and helped me move a workbench into the shed and then I was rolling. This is my cutting bench since it is wide enough to have a 12 inch wide board on it for cutting and to place my circular saw, my squares, pencil and the light on it all at the same time. It worked great!

I put in another shelf/workbench alongside the one I built a few weeks ago and another shelf up higher. I spent some time carrying things from the basement to the shed and putting things on the shelves woo! I carried the vise over which I regretted mostly because I had closed the shed door, thus having to pick it up again. I'm buying bolts for that this morning as soon as the dog settles down. Putting up shelves and moving things took most of the morning.
Extended workbench, which I used when I applied the stain to the boards.

Main workbench area, now with more shelves.

In the afternoon, I did some fun projects. I made some backings for prints that I had and the 10inch planed planks fit them perfect since they were 8inx10in. Those got a stain and then I put a back on a tiny shelf I had and mounted it on the wall so I could put small keepsakes up.
I ran errands this morning. Ran to home depot and only got three things. I was going to get the bolts but their selection was utter shit so I'm going to the local hardware store at some point this week for those. I also grabbed more milk and yogurt from the store because I attempted to make yogurt this week and it got very weird, so I tossed it. Also made the trek north to pick up my shearing box from where I left it. It's now pouring rain so I'm happy to be back home.
Mara is not doing well. She's not tolerating this warm spell (50F) and seems to be struggling to lay down even more. I am going to see if she improves any with the weather cooling down but if not, I may call the vet. She's starting to struggle generally, she staggers sometimes, she doesn't really walk straight anymore. I think the question now is before Christmas or after Christmas to put her down. Of course, I had to stop in the middle of writing this post to keep her from going down the stairs to chase a squirrel because I hadn't put the barrier up and she was moving very fast. I don't know! She's still eating all of her food and drinking fine. She still demands to go on the balcony. Arg. She just seems uncomfortable. But maybe it's because it's so warm! I don't know!

It's tough when they can't talk.
The shed's definitely coming along!

Better is good but serious yeah.
I'm told even the button boards don't help much with this; "hurts" works but "left front paw hurts" isn't much happening.

Tough decisions about Mara. I know you will make the right one.
