Tiny chirps

There is a bird outside that has a chirp almost exactly like the sound of an electronic device having power issues somewhere in the room and it is driving me slightly bonkers. I know it isn't actually an electronic device because it is irregular but it likes to do three chirps in a row then pause. then three chirps in a row. and then one chirp

At least it's not a forlorn mockingbird?

There was a blue jay calling this morning, in the a querulous sort of way rather than the active insistent alarm call, so that seemed auspicious.

Well, I spent five minutes or so trying to triangulate where the electronic beeping was coming from so perhaps a more clearcut bird call would have been nicer...

Kinda like trying to find the low-battery smoke alarm in the basement that one did not know was there, yeah.

I am sure various sparrows would insist that the beeping copies them, they did it first...
