I said I wasn't going to pick up another hobby but I figured out how to make the world's smallest backstrap loom out of pvc pipe and started weaving with tatting crochet thread and a tapestry needle as a shuttle. oh well.

I should be able to use this with larger yarn for narrow projects, but I was originally planning to use a thin dowel which is why I went for the tatting crochet thread.

Backstrap weaving! Basically, the warp is set on two wooden rods, one end is attached to a stationary object and the weaver is the other end of the loom using a strap around their back and they weave over their lap. Very portable, doesn't require a frame. In this, I used small PVC pipes but same principle since I'm so limited on space!
