Thankfully the drain pipes had a section of pvc that had threaded sections that were female and a smooth section that was male and I could unthread, the pipe could move and then re-tighten and it could absorb the extra length. I really didn't pick it up very much and I didn't move the sink very much at all. I did my best to just get it up vertically because side to side movement would be bad. I had to use a crowbar to move it so I really went slow and careful. Then I chipped out the old tile with a hammer and chisel. The water supply lines are all the articulated stuff that has a lot of slack, so didn't need to do anything with those at all.
The only damage from moving the sink is that I took a tiny chip out of the stove top while lifting. oops
