Yeah, I need to scan my tax documents, I've been neglecting that, they get a digital file. I usually try and grab photos of the less important stuff with office lens just in case as well. But tax docs are the most important thing to scan because I will need them for house stuff where most of the other stuff can just live in a box as long as I can access and dig through it if things get real weird.
