I've done some things this week. Mostly work, some other stuff.
All the work stuff was intensely arm and hand focused so I've been trying to avoid doing fun stuff related because I'm sore. Lots of harvesting.
My garden looks super good, I'm going to have so many tomatoes soon. I harvested the first jalapenos.
I stopped by a yard sale yesterday and picked up a beautiful set of china and a chair that I'm going to use for spinning. I didn't need the china set but the person at the sale said everything was free because they didn't want to take it back into their storage. I gave them $6.
Currently watching olympics, watched the women's rugby medal matches earlier, now watching women's bmx. The equestrian events have been awesome too.
I also made granola, dal and will make samosa filling later to eat on pita bread and if I get to the store tomorrow, puff pastry. If not, I'm going to put it with rice.
Mara has done the annual "I don't want to eat THIS food" where she turns up her nose at food and if I switch it, she likes the new stuff and then a week later turns up her nose. Given that she will throw up on our walks if she doesn't eat, it's a problem. She also will do that for wet food. She's also shedding and producing a ton of hair right now. I've bought some smaller bags to alternate and that's helped some.
I think I'm going to bake something else this afternoon, maybe an oat something or other

Aw, poor Mara. They do get bored with their victuals, so far as I can tell. (Well; the ones that aren't willing to give emulating Fenrir their best shot; just let them try, they'll consume the entire world.)
Yay china! Yay chair! May the tomato harvest be glorious!
That sounds like a really productive week just in general, too.

It was definitely a busy week!

If Mara's blowing her coat in late July-into August that might go with "seasonal picky eater" as "heat stress". I have seen dogs fed cold soup when it's hot but you really don't want to do that inside (or without a hose for afterwards!) Try freezing some wet food, seeing if that goes over better?
(Also, if you ever have an actual recipe for "Oat something-or-other" you should publish it just because that is the most grandma's-little-index-cards recipe name ever.)

I looked up a recipe for oat scones, didn't make them but I did make an oat something or other from a prehistoric food presentation I watched at a vitual conference in the past year.
I made it with oats and sorghum flour and it was tasty and chewy.

Hopefully cheese bribery works with economic cheese!
That's a splendid recipe; thank you!
