Today is Jade's birthday. I would wish her a happy birthday again but she doesn't follow me on any of these platforms. She was running late to work and she was very tired when I wished her happy birthday this morning. Actually I might send her the Mer Chrmas dinosaur because I think that would be funny.

But all she wanted for her birthday was a Boston Creme Pie, which I baked the cake and made the pastry cream last night and I will assemble tonight.

I need to get the dog's nail trimmed after work. I keep trying to do it myself but I get too nervous and can't do it so I'm going to pay someone $10 to do it. Worth it.

The other thing Jade requested is to go to brunch. So we're hitting a brunch place tomorrow morning sometime. Before that I'm going to take Mara to the dog park and maybe run to the farmers market, I haven't decided yet. I should probably figure that out along with what I'm making for dinner this week.

Then after brunch we're going to an Antique and Flea Market fair at a fairgrounds nearby. Should have 200 vendors or so. I saw them setting up when I drove past yesterday. I might go on Sunday too.

Unfortunately, the only ice rink with open skate around here is no longer having weekend open skates, so I can't go. Ugh, I'm so irritated about that. They only have skates between 12 noon and 2 on weekdays. Come on! So no ice skating this weekend but I can skate when I go to PA and am not too tired after farm work.
