I bought my truck one year ago and it passed 6000 miles last week.

It had been a year since I was hired on as barn assistant

It's been a year and a half since I moved down to maryland for work and here I am with a promotion already.

I'm running my own business and this week's market will be the 10th one and I got an offer to sell my products at someone else store. So now I'm looking into business licenses and renting a commercial kitchen

me and jade are going to be moving into a house soon

it just makes me think how far I've come since just last year. 22 to 23 doesn't feel like a big deal but compared to how I was at 21 and 20 and definitely 18, it's like I'm a different person. I don't know if I changed much on the outside but the inside has definitely changed a lot. And for the better

I'm only 23 and I'm having so much fun

commentstag:dreamwidth.org,2015-11-01:2457881:1653Market Folks2015-11-06T00:41:00Z2015-11-06T00:41:11Zpublic0I sell gluten-free baked goods at a local farmers market that is year round. I've been doing it for about two months now and I'm finally recognizing some regulars. And like anything, there are some delightful regulars and some very very strange ones. Especially since the market I go to is on Kent Island, which is a bedroom community for the cities on the Western Shore, Annapolis, DC and Baltimore. (I'm not sure WHY people commute to DC or Baltimore every day except for $$$$$$ because KI people have a ton of money)

There's a guy who samples everything but buys like one thing from one vendor. Some folks who spend well over an hour at the market, which is only three hours long total. But I at least recognize them week to week now and I've met some great people.

I also saw a dude in a fedora today.

Which I honestly didn't think was a thing that happened in real life

commentstag:dreamwidth.org,2015-11-01:2457881:1290unicornduke @ 2015-11-04T19:33:002015-11-05T00:38:24Z2015-11-05T00:38:24Zpublic0I did so many things today.

Work and being responsible at work and checking fields on the dirt bike.

Then I had a physical, got my flu shot, got my hair cut and then came home and got most of my stuff around for the market tomorrow.

I'm now watching an ad where a mural ad came alive and was talking to a dude. No really

I've baked a whole bunch of things today.

So many

1 chocolate sheet cake, 1 white sheet cake, 61 chocolate chip cookies, around 50 oatmeal raisin cookies, 40 or so pumpkin cookies, a tray of brownies, 12 apple strudel muffins, five mini cherry pies, 7 mini apple pies, 39 vanilla macarons, and 35 apple cider macarons

I am tired but pleased that I got everything done. All of the baked goods are put away except the apple strudel muffins because I'm not sure what to do with them. They turned out.....interesting

But I got what I wanted done and at least the brownies were a success.

commentstag:dreamwidth.org,2015-11-01:2457881:356this is new2015-11-01T14:58:32Z2015-11-01T14:58:32Zpublic0it is!

comments
